Dentrix Image 5.0 Released

Dentrix Image 5.0 is officially available for installation/upgrades. This is the first version upgrade to their imaging product in several years and makes a lot of ‘under the hood’ improvments, including the ability to enable hardware acceleration.

Dentrix Image Features

      Where can I download the Dentrix Image 5.0 upgrade.

      Last I checked it still wasn’t available on Dentrix’s FTP, I believe you will have to contact your Dentrix representitive to get a copy. If you do not have one, let me know and I can see if we are able to provide it for you.

      I just installed Dentrix Image 5.0 and now when I try to scan a phosphor plate with my ScanX ILE machine, it says that it can’t find the scanx scanner.

      Make sure you install the proper drivers from the drivers folder under dentrix image. If you need help installing manually, please give us a call at 858-292-5766. Ask for Topher.

      Just as an FYI. Since Dentrix Image is not owned by Dentrix anymore but Dexis, do not expect to see this available as a download on

      Instead, call Dexis Support and have them walk you thru the download process.
